Selected papers have been collected into sets devoted to specific topics. These papers have been revised to adhere to a uniform style and minor errors have been corrected; otherwise, they are unchanged from the original editions. Some papers are out of date, and there is a certain degree of repetition. In some cases, my views have changed over time. Nonetheless, these collections are intended to provide the interested reader with easier access to and a more complete view of the material covered. Many of these papers were subsequently published as chapters of books. |
